Hotel development and management company Concord Hospitality has been handed management duties for more than a dozen hotels and restaurants, with new assignments stretching from Washington, D.C. to North Carolina and New Jersey.
The headline additions in the capital region are One Washington Circle, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton property in D.C.'s West End with residential-style rooms and the Ten Ten West End restaurant, and The Satire in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. The Satire, a 180-room historic boutique hotel, recently joined Marriott's Autograph Collection and comes with two F&B concepts: the Wise Fool restaurant and bar and the laid-back Bad Poet Café.
New Jersey features twice in the pipeline. In Flemington, The Union Hotel Flemington, a 100-room Tribute Portfolio property, is set to open in the downtown area with a restaurant, JP's Lounge, bars and meeting space. In Lyndhurst, Concord takes on The Vintedge, a hotel-inspired residences concept still to open, complete with a restaurant and wine bar.
North Carolina is where the bigger openings land, both slated for early 2027. In Raleigh, The Wren will occupy the sixth floor of the Oberlin Hotel as a rooftop bar and dining destination with skyline views and a Southern-meets-contemporary menu. In Charlotte, The Beckworth Hotel Charlotte, a 240-room Curio Collection by Hilton property, will occupy the historic Johnston Building downtown — a structure approaching its centenary — with a ground-floor restaurant and coffee shop plus a rooftop bar.
Why should travellers care? These openings signal where new boutique and lifestyle options are appearing on the East Coast. If you're planning trips to Washington, Charlotte or Raleigh in 2026-27, there will be fresh mid-to-upscale choices in walkable downtown locations — especially useful in Charlotte, where the Beckworth adds inventory in a restored landmark building, and in Alexandria's Old Town, where The Satire gives Marriott Bonvoy members another historic-stay option.
