This privacy policy describes how click.holiday (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit our website. We are a read-only travel and holiday content site. We do not run user accounts or public comments.
What we collect
Information you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit, plus basic technical signals used to reduce spam (for example, answers to anti-spam challenges).
Technical and usage data. Like most websites, our servers and optional analytics tools may process IP address, browser type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and referring URLs. If Google Analytics (or a similar tool) is enabled, that provider processes usage data under its own terms.
Our own visitor count. We count page views on our own server without cookies. For each view we keep the date, the page, the website you came from (if any), and a short one-way code made from the date, your IP address and your browser type. The code changes every day and cannot be turned back into an IP address, so a visitor is counted once a day and cannot be identified or followed between days. We do not store your IP address or browser type for this. Counts are kept for about 13 months.
Cookies. We may use cookies or similar storage for essential site functions (for example, session and security) and, where enabled, analytics. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
How we use information

Content sources
Stories on click.holiday are independent curations based on publicly available source material. Each story credits the original publisher and links to the source. We do not sell personal data from readers.

We may share information with service providers who help us host the site, send email, fight spam, or measure traffic — only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
Retention
Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle the enquiry and for legitimate business records. Server and analytics logs are retained for a limited operational period.

You may contact us to ask about data we hold from a contact submission, or to request correction or deletion where applicable. For analytics opt-out options, see your browser settings and any tools offered by the analytics provider.
Children
click.holiday is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
