Downtown Indianapolis is about to get a serious upgrade in the hotel-dining department. Signia Hilton Indianapolis has revealed its full lineup of restaurants and bars ahead of a December 2026 opening, and it reads more like a city food guide than a hotel facilities list.

The 803-room property connects via skywalk to the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium, so it will pull in convention crowds, sports fans and locals alike. Leading the kitchen is executive chef Dwayne Krisko, who spent his last posting running culinary operations at Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort & Spa in Croatia, home to Michelin-starred restaurant Nebo. Kyle Wright, a veteran of several flagship Hilton properties, oversees food and beverage, with input from Hilton's in-house consultancy StiR Creative Collective.

The headliner is Torchlight, a two-story rooftop cocktail lounge on the 38th floor named after the torch on the Indiana state flag. Expect inventive cocktails and rare spirits with skyline views that shift from golden hour to late night — and the bar programme has real pedigree, developed with Devon Tarby of Gin & Luck, the group behind Death & Co. Down at street level, Rosewater's opens onto the Georgia Street promenade with big screens for game days and a list leaning on regional corn-based spirits.

There's more. Heartwood, named for the core of Indiana's sycamore, starts with breakfast and lunch before going all-day with a modern American grill with Midwest supper club roots. Slipstream covers the grab-and-go end: café, espresso bar and market for travellers on the move. Deck on 5 adds a seasonal rooftop pool with cabanas, Club Signia offers a private-membership-style lounge, and an upscale third-party restaurant is slated for summer 2027.

Even the events side leans local. The hotel's roughly 100,000 square feet of meeting space comes with a catering collection called the Modern Indiana Table, built around the state's farms, creameries and distilleries. Planners can book interactive extras like a Cocktail Lab where guests mix a Hoosier Old Fashioned, Indiana whiskey tastings, or creative breaks riffing on State Fair classics — tenderloin sliders, corn fritters and root beer floats.

Why it matters: this is the biggest new reason yet to consider Indianapolis for a downtown stay, whether you're in town for a convention at Lucas Oil, a Colts game or a weekend visit. If the Death & Co-backed rooftop delivers, Torchlight alone could become a reservation worth planning a trip around. Rooms can already be booked at Hilton.com for stays from December 9, 2026, with restaurant reservations to follow on OpenTable.
