The Formula 1 season finale at Yas Marina Circuit has always doubled as a music festival, and this December's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (December 4-6) is no exception. This year's line-up stretches from Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson to Imagine Dragons, The Chainsmokers and The Script, with Andrea Bocelli adding a touch of class at Yasalam Classics and Anyma headlining an official after-party.

But three names on the bill come with a catch. South African house icons Black Coffee and Shimza, plus British chart-toppers CamelPhat, are each playing a one-night takeover of 16/360 — and regular Grand Prix tickets won't get you in. Shimza opens the weekend on Friday December 4, CamelPhat takes Saturday December 5, and Black Coffee closes things out on Sunday December 6.

That's because 16/360 sits on the premium end of the hospitality spectrum. Rather than a general grandstand, it's a trackside venue combining race views with inclusive food, drinks and entertainment across the whole weekend. There are two tiers: the Terrace Collection and The Circle at 16/360, both of which include access to the DJ sets.

Pricing starts at Dhs5,995 for a four-day Terrace Collection pass, while The Circle runs from Dhs9,795 — and those figures exclude fees. Worth noting these are full-weekend hospitality passes, not single-night tickets to one DJ set, so you're paying for the whole race experience rather than an individual show.

There is some added value beyond the paddock. A 16/360 pass also includes entry to the Yasalam After-Race Concerts — the big-name shows that regular ticket holders do get — plus selected Abu Dhabi attractions, which softens the premium price somewhat.

The takeaway is simple: if your trip revolves around catching Black Coffee, CamelPhat or Shimza, budget for 16/360 from the start. A standard race ticket plus a hope and a prayer won't get you past the door. For everyone else, the included After-Race Concert line-up is strong enough that the GP remains one of the better value sport-and-music weekends out there — especially with early December weather in Abu Dhabi sitting comfortably in the mid-20s.
